To love the less fortunate through acts of service
Broken lives and communities renewed through Jesus Christ
Humility, compassion, servanthood, intentionality, fellowship.
What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. "
1 Corinthians 3:5-9
How We Serve
Our Calling to Live Missionally
As servant-leaders, we have all been called to live missional lives for Jesus. Through a foundation of intentional fellowship, we are able to build God's kingdom by serving Him and His people. God is calling us to be missional to our community in Edmonton. Our sincerest hope is that He will use his servants to reach out to those He has commanded to love: the poor, the sick and the downtrodden.
"Translating faith into action is a journey through which God can reveal so many truths about Himself."
- Shannon Wong, Internal Event Coordinator
"As followers of Jesus Christ, we are convicted by the poverty and suffering happening in our own streets. There exists a great need for love, reconciliation, and healing in Edmonton."
- Ernest Hui, President of Operations
"The Lord does not require people to carry out His perfect will, yet He offers the lowest of His servants the opportunity to serve Him, working through them despite their shortcomings so that His glory can be better magnified."
- Jonathan Le, Vice-President Strategy
"Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God- this is your true and proper worship."
